
Ghana Launches $200 Million National Clean Energy Programme to Expand Rooftop Solar Systems Nationwide
Ghana has launched the $200 million National Clean Energy Programme (NCEP) to boost renewable energy through 4,000 rooftop solar installations nationwide. Implemented by the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition, EPA, and Switzerland’s KliK Foundation, the initiative supports Ghana’s net-zero emissions target by 2070 while promoting green jobs, energy security, and climate resilience.
